Heavy pale green satin backed crepe fabric. Enamel bee buttons down the front of the dress and at the cuffs
High band collar, fab exaggerated raglan sleeves with peaked shoulders
Pleats in the bodice flare to wide volume at the hem. The pleats, collar and cuffs are edged in decorative black and yellow stitching echoing the enamel bees
Buttons down the front in true shirtwaist style
This dress is almost identical to a Bill Gibb dress held in the collection of the Victoria and Albert Museum, London. The V&A example was purchased by its original owner in 1972, dating this dress to the same era.

The chest measurement is somewhat flexible due to the raglan sleeve construction. Best fit sizes XS-S but could also work for a size M
Excellent condition, no damage, staining or alterations. There is a minor, tiny faint mark or two in accordance with gentle wear. All buttons are present.
